Wacky Watercooler Blog Hop

Welcome back my friends! I’m joining the Wacky Watercooler Blog Hop this month. I’m excited to share a few cards. The theme is "Celebrating the Occasions in Our Lives".  As you hop along through everyone’s blog be sure to leave them some love and comment on their creations. It's the fuel that each of us need to continue to share our creations with you monthly.

If you just arrived from Christine Giuda’s blog thank you for continuing through the hop. Weren’t her projects inspiring? I bet you just cannot wait for the next time you get to craft. Lots of wonderful new ideas. If you missed Christine's creations then you can click on the Previous button below.

Let's begin with being born. I know you are wondering huh? I'll explain. I received some wonderful news from a very close friend of mine the other day. She is expecting! Yipee!! So I just had to make a card to congratulate her and her husband. We do not know if the baby is a boy or a girl yet. That should be known within the next few weeks. For now I thought a gender neutral color combination would work perfectly. It's the latest craze on Pinterest. Grays and Yellows. They are very welcoming color combination.

I have the booties dangling from some Whisper White Baker’s Twine. Similar to a baby mobile over the crib. Cute right?

For my next card I wanted to focus on continuing to celebrate birthdays. I am still focusing on bringing birthdays back with Shannon West. People celebrate them each day and what better way to show we care by sending a handmade card. Right? Wouldn't you like to receive it in your mailbox verses all the junk mail or bills you get. It's like getting a big hug through the mail.

What I’m most excited about was my punched sentiment banner. This was not intentional but I went with it because well I liked how it worked out. What do you think? Pretty neat huh? I'm thinking it would make a fun flower if I could manage to punch it out on the other sides. It'll be something I try for a future project.

Thank you for visiting today. I hope I have inspired you to try a few new tricks with your crafting supplies. Are you prepared enough to visit Priscilla and to see what she created for us today? I'm sure they are adorable and fun projects! Let’s not wait any longer click the Next button below.

  3. What lovely cards Leanne. I love how you attached the booties to the first card and I agree that yellows and grays are such hot colours right now. The banner in your second card is too sweet for words. Thanks for all the measurements too! How awesome.

  5. Hi Leanne, welcome to our blog hop. What a cute baby card you've created for your friends. I love the colour combinations and layout. Great idea for that sentiment banner on your birthday card. Sometimes the best results come purely by accident. It's when we embrace those accidents that they become art.
