Choo Choo...

One of my first stamp sets from the 2014 - 2015 Annual Catalog was the Work of Art but then next on my list to get was Traveler. I believe the Traveler set would make beautiful cards especially masculine cards.

So here is one that I had made a DIVA night this month. The neutral colors and the swoosh makes the train look like its moving.

You make me Smile!

How did you get started stamping or crafting???

This was my first make and take (2001) that got me hooked!

Seriously, a candy wrapper!

I know you're asking where is the chocolate bar????? Well for 1-I'm not sure if it would still be good to eat from 2001, 2-chocolate wouldn't stick around this house for longer than a day (two chocoholics live here!)

Comment below how it all started for you and feel free to share a photo of your craft project with a little story. It's fun to share and see the progression of your work!

Big Ways, Small Ways

Cased this CUTE 3x3 from the Annual Catalog (page 104). This took less than 5 minutes to put together. I'm really liking the 2014 - 2016 In Colors and the Moonlight Designer Series Paper. It's got to be in my top ten must haves. I will post later on of my top ten must haves from the 2014 - 2015 Annual Catalog.

Color Challenge - Red, White & Blue

Each month, fellow demonstrators and I gather for a team business and stamp meeting. We each make one card design and make enough for all attendees. On occasion we will be given a theme or a color challenge.

This month was a color challenge. We could choose any theme, any shade of Stampin' Up! Red, White and Blue colors.

Trying to come up with something other than a patriotic theme, I chose to go with a great summer pastime. Wouldn't this be cute for a baseball or softball theme birthday invitation or a birthday card for the die hard baseball fan?
