Joy

This card stood out at me when I was at the Inspire Create Share 2015 Stampin' Up! Convention last week. I knew I just had to case it.

Oh my gosh it was just last week. :'(

I'll be ok once I can get back into my craft room. Honest!

I would have loved to have swapped with all the demonstrators (over 1000+ that would have been a LOT of swaps to make) however this was the next best thing!

This year was different than prior years for the Convention display boards.

There was nothing on them! 8-O

The blank display boards held a strip of many velcro circle pieces for the demonstrators to share their creations.

Our very own swaps could be on display for everyone to enjoy! Yeah!

Keep in mind we didn't get to see the 2015 - 2016 Holiday Catalog until Thursday, July 23, 2015 so these items are all from the 2015 - 2016 Annual Catalog and will be available for you to purchase through May 31, 2016.

I apologize in advance for not giving credit but if this is your card that I cased please contact me so I can give you credit! You are AWESOME and very creative!

I used the smallest solid circle in the What's Your Type stamp set to have something else besides the leaves inked. Stamping them gives the berries a bit more definition and character.

Happy Birthday

We are creating birthday cards over at SSINK today!

We know everyone has one even though they may not celebrate (because they are getting older) it's still nice to receive a unique handmade card in the mail or in person.

So you will need ideas for different types of people to send them cards and SSINK has them for you!

Let's tell that birthday boy/girl how young they are looking or something funny (like a joke) or just that you remembered their special day and jot a good ole' memory you have with them to bring them back to that moment in time so they can reminisce with you.

Anything to make their day extra special!

I know I would enjoy one even if I made it and someone else gave it to me!

It's always the thought that counts, right?

Don't forget to check out the other creations made by our awesome design team and leave some blog love.

Ridiculously Amazing

Over at SSINK today we are focusing our attention on sequins.

Immediately I knew I wanted to make a shaker card using the sequins and the hearts from the Crushed Curry, Chalkboard Black and Silver Foil pieces within the Hello Life Project Kit. I wanted to use more of the left over pieces I still had on hand from the kit too.

It's a fun interactive card!

I enjoy the softness the vellum brings to the shaker section. The stamped verbiage is under the sequins and the vellum.

Be sure to go back to the SSINK blog post to see the other design team members creations. Leave us some blog love as we love creating and sharing our ideas with all of our followers.
