Have a Holiday

Are you ready for it to snow soon?

Ok yes, I'm only trying to wish the humidity away not really the summer.

I know winter will be here soon enough.

So would you rather view a snowy, large, long holiday card?

This card measures 4 1/2" x 8 1/2".

WOW is right!

I had a thought of using all the Christmas Greetings Thinlets on one card and that is why I went with a larger size. It also worked perfectly for the sketch challenge from Pals Paper Arts (see below).

I enjoy being able to create any size card I need.

Don't you?

Here are some closer views from around the card.

From the top left of the card.

I used the snowflake from the Square Pillow Box Framelets and cut out three snowflakes.

Dazzling Diamond Glimmer Paper
Soft Sky
Vellum

On top of the vellum snowflake I added an Iced Rhinestone.

Now over to the right of the card.

I have a whole spider web doily that has gone under some surgery (with paper snips) to remove some of the webbing to make it look more like a snowflake. I adhered (black side down to the vellum) the snowflake using the fine tip glue pen!

If this (fine tip glue pen) is not on your wishlist.

You need to add it right NOW!!!!  September 1st cannot come soon enough for you!

It's such a lifesaver! You're going to LOVE it!

Here is a list of what is on top of the spider web snowflake (doily)

Wooden Snowflake
Soft Sky and Dazzling Diamond Glimmer Paper smaller snowflake (similar to the above picture)
Silver Sequin Trim
Silver 1/8" Taffeta Ribbon
Silver Metallic Thread
Shimmery White card stock with Lost Lagoon ink on a dimensional curled with the bone folder

I embossed a piece of vellum with the Softly Falling Embossing folder for my background piece.

Oh here is another angle of the spider web snowflake.

You really need a steady hand because this is very delicate and the webbing is attached in four spots on each side of the fleur de lis section.

Good luck not cutting off a section you need. :P

I used the sketch from Pals Paper Arts (#PPA264)

I decided to rotate it to allow the use of all the words I wanted on the card.
