Thanks

Happy Thanksgiving! Are you prepared for all the family time you are about to have along with an amazing dinner? I cannot wait for my favorite meal ever with my main turkey, er I mean my husband! Turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, green beans, gravy and cranberry sauce. YUM! Then I'll try to fit dessert after the food coma. Yup I should be good until Christmas.

SSINK is showcasing thank you cards. How appropriate since today is Thanksgiving and we all are thankful for many things especially our followers. What are you thankful for? I am thankful for my family, friends, all of you my followers and my freedom to be able to continue to craft and share my creations!  So I want to thank you for your continued support and encouragement to continue to create, inspire and share with you each day. This card is for all of you!

I chose to go with a monochromatic color palette. Early Espresso, Sahara Sand, Tip Top Taupe with Very Vanilla with a splash of Gold.

Do you see the “thanks” greeting in the Gold Glimmer paper? Yes, Good. I’m going to tell you a secret to it. I cut out four more of them in Very Vanilla and glued them all together. I was trying to get the thanks to be the same height as the banner and lace piece.

Thank you for stopping by today. Try not to stuff yourself too much but enjoy the Macy's Day Parade, The National Dog Show and all the Football that you can watch before the food coma takes over and you nap on the couch. Let's see what the other design team members created today. Don’t forget to enter for a chance to win the Blog Candy Giveaway!

I used the sketch from Freshly Made Sketches (#FMS214).

    1. Thank you Kim! I wasn't sure if anyone would have noticed the little acorns if I didn't point them out.
