Num Num

Welcome to Friday my friends. The designers over at SSINK are showing 3D items. For those who know me I’m all about being different. Don’t be shocked!

Color Combination:

Measurements:

I used one 8 ½” x 11” piece of Chocolate Chip card stock for the Fry box
The rest was using large enough scraps for the punched shapes.

So who is ready for the Super bowl this Sunday? Are you rooting for the Panthers or the Broncos? Do not let the color combination make you think I have a favorite team. I am not rooting for either. I'm not a big sports fan. I will watch the "big" events like the Super bowl, Daytona 500, Masters, World Series, March Madness, Olympics, etc. You get the gist. I'm excited to reverse watch television. Ha. You must be scratching your head, like "huh?" I'm looking forward to watching all the commercials. I generally do not pay attention to them and generally leave the room for something like washing dishes  (refilling my beverage or change the laundry, etc) until the show comes back on. I decided to make Super bowl treat holders. I was going for a football theme.

The Fry Box was cut from the Chocolate Chip card stock twice. I took one of the Fry Boxes and cut off the back side. Embossed both the full Fry Box and extra back piece with the Decorative Dots folder (to make it look similar to a football) Adhered the extra back piece to the front of the full Fry Box so it looked symmetrical. Adhered the Whisper White scrap pieces for stitching. So the treat holder is completed now onto decorating it.

Here is my Super bowl treat holder. It’s perfect for three Reese’s® Peanut Butter footballs.

I chose to make a punch art helmet to hold my sentiment. All you need is a couple of circle punches (I’ve listed them below) and punching a few times and two strips of Whisper White for the face guard. I adhered the pieces to a clothespin. The clothespin helmet s holding my sentiment. This was the best I could find since I do not own any of the sports stamp sets and chose not to use an alphabet to have to line up each letter for a message. Call me lazy.

Here is the view from the top.

Let me know what you think? Will you be making these in time for Super bowl this year or will you wait til next year? Let’s go back to SSINK’s main blog to see what the other designer’s created for us today.

Thank you for stopping by again today. Hope you will visit tomorrow if you can spare five minutes.
