Someone Great

Welcome to the middle of the week crafty people! I have wanted to use the In the Meadow stamp set again and nothing was inspiring me. So I turned to my challenge folder (within my email). Yes, I subscribe to about 10 – 15 different craft challenge blogs and I believe they really do help spark the creative nerve. At least for me.

Color Combination:

Measurements:

Cherry Cobbler card base 5 ½” x 8 ½” scored at 4 ¼”
Early Espresso 4 1/8” x 5 3/8”
Sahara Sand 4” x 5 ¼”

Technique Tip:

See the tree stamp? First I had inked it up with Sahara Sand. Next took my sponge dauber with some Cherry Cobbler ink and lightly dabbed the ink on the leaf areas. Then took the Early Espresso Stampin' Write marker and colored the branches and trunks.  Huffed to allowed the dried ink to reactivate so that I could stamp it on the Sahara Sand card stock. You can see the image below along with the fussy cut deer.

I used the inspiration to add nature from Just Add Ink (#JAI296).

I used the color combination from Sunday Stamps (#SSC119).

Hope you have been inspired to create more with this stamp set. Thank you for visiting today. I’ll see you back here tomorrow same time and same place.

  1. You created a lovely scene Leanne. I really like how you used the deer to link the tag and the base of the card together. Thanks for joining us at Just Add Ink this week.
