So I had six ladies over on Sunday to make cute Easter curled designer series paper wreaths. Well you know us women in all, we drink wine, eat some snacks and chit chat while all making these wreaths. We know how to multitask. :P
One of the topics brought up was a baby shower that two of the ladies are hosting. They were commenting on how they cannot wait to find out if it's a boy or a girl.
Well short side of the story was, one of the ladies didn't like the store bought invitations and asked if I had anything with animals. I immediately jumped out of my chair and brought back the Zoo Babies stamp set. Showed it to them and they were like "OMG these are just like the patterns in the bedding and the room décor the Mother-to-be picked out and registered for!" Perfect, let me make you a sample invitation!
So for the next 25-35 minutes I was diligently working on my computer and asked about wording and colors and here is what I came up with. Oh and of course surprised them the next day with some cute matching party favors filled with none other than animal crackers.
The first line of the invitation says:
A new baby is on the way,
boy or girl we simply can't say!
Leave your comments below and let me know what you think of them?
