SSINK is counting down the days until the 2015 - 2016 Holiday Catalog goes live.
We have four days to go.
I'm going to add to your wishlist today if these items are not already on it.
I cannot wait until you can have as much fun as I am with all these new products.
Today we are creating Halloween projects.
Are you scared yet?
I have been staring at the Howl-o-ween Treat stamp and Boo to You framelits and trying to be very creative in the things I create.
I chose to make my owl into a bat.
I love how big his eyes are and it seems that he has been spooked.
Could it be the eyes within the trees?
I colored the impressions in the trees with my Basic Gray stampin' write marker from the woodland embossing folder.
Curious how I made the owl into a bat?
I scored right at the bottom of the wings and then right at the "waist line" so that when folded you could still see the feet.
Here is a closer view of the bat owl.
Should he be added to the "Bat clan" ?
Batman
Cat Woman
Bat Boy
Bat Owl
Ha. Or not.
I sniped a piece of the spider web doily and added it to my washi tape banners adhered with a staple.
The spider is on top of a Happy Haunting washi tape covered clothespin.
I had cut out B. O. O. from the Dazzling Diamond Glimmer paper. I felt that it needed some color. So I filled my spritzer with Tangerine Tango ink refill and rubbing alcohol and spritzed and let it dry.
When I placed the B. O. O. onto the card it was getting lost in the trees. I needed to add something dark like a shadow and I cut out the letters again but in Basic Black. I added the black letters behind the dazzled tangerine letters and oh it worked out perfectly. You can read the sentiment and see the trees in the background!
Yippee!!!
Oh and what about the spooky random eyes in the forest.
Creepy.
Oh I love LOVE love the Glimmer Paper we sell but the Black Glimmer Paper in the Holiday catalog you are going to want to stock up because you are going to love it too!
I used the sketch from Paper Craft Crew Card Sketch (#PCCCS159).
