I had an idea of a card to use both a layout and color combination challenge. And you know what?
This didn't turn out like I had pictured it. Does that ever happen to you? If so, what do you do? Do you try to fix it? Scrap it? Still use it?
I guess sometimes you can just have an off day or maybe it was this one project. I'm still unsure what I was picturing verses what you're about to see but I still plan to use this card.
First we have the color combination from Colour Me...! (CMCC48). The challenge was to use Coastal Cabana, Elegant Eggplant, Perfect Plum, Rose Red and a Neutral color.
Next is the layout challenge from Pals Paper Arts (PPA229). I wanted to try and stay away from circles and holiday stamp sets.
