Nautical Thank Yous

It's Masculine Monday over at SSINK. I chose to use a nautical theme and make thank you cards. Here is all five together. Don't worry, if you keep scrolling you can see a closer view of each individual card.

Due to the amount of time I spent on the details of the coloring and fussy cutting each image, I thought the layout needed to be very basic and allow the image to be the focal point.

The lighthouse is stamped in Early Espresso but colored in with Cherry Cobbler, Daffodil Delight, Sahara Sand.

Next is my husband's favorite of these cards, the sea turtle. He is stamped in Early Espresso and colored in with Sahara Sand and Early Espresso.

Here is the cooked lobster! (in New England we say "lobstah") He is stamped and colored in Cherry Cobbler. Those legs and antennae were tough but I didn't chop them off! Phew!

Next is the Blue Marlin. Not gonna lie I had to Google the coloring so I could be sure it was appropriate for whomever I send this to. I didn't want to color it purple if that isn't the color they are. LOL. He is stamped in Night of Navy and colored in with Daffodil Delight, Night of Navy and Smoky Slate.

Final one is the ships wheel. This one is stamped and colored with Early Espresso. My snips really didn't like the in between the spokes but I managed. I added the antique brad in the center of the wheel just as something more to enhance the card.

I used the layout from Create with Connie & Mary (#CCMC383).
