Have you been decking the halls and trimming the tree? Unfortunately I haven't and will need to get on that as soon as possible. Due to having an early December birthday, I like to allow each holiday (including birthday) to take it's time before rushing to the next one. So Thanksgiving came and went, my birthday came and went and now I'm ready to get into the Christmas spirit. Not that I wasn't before making all the holiday cards and projects, but I am ready not that it’s the appropriate time according to my weird schedule.
You’re welcome to sing along with me, O tidings of comfort and joy, comfort and joy. Yeah I do not have a great singing voice (not that you heard it, you’re welcome) but it helped get me into the spirit to assist with this next card I want to share with you.
I know you're asking, "Where did you get that joy?" I used the Mini Treat Bag Thinlets and cut the enjoy from the Red Glimmer Paper. I snipped the "en" off.
It's hard to tell the color of the sequins in the above photos. Here is a better photo to show off that color. They are Real Red from the Brights Sequin Assortment.
I used the sketch from Global Design Project (#GDP014).
Thank you for stopping by today. If you are not in the holiday spirit by now, I know that you soon will be.

DeleteYour card is beautiful. Really love that color combo. A little country a little glitz. Thanks for the tip about the enjoy in the mini treat bag set.
ReplyDeleteThank you Rosemarie! I en"joy"ed making it too!
DeleteOh, I like where you got the joy from - clever thinking! Your Very Vanilla and Red colour combination is lovely and lends a soft vintage feel to the card. Thanks so much for playing at Global Design Project this week.
ReplyDeleteThank you Paula!
DeleteWow, Leanne! There's an explosion of joy on the right side of your card, and I love it! How clever you are to find "joy" and to layer these elements so perfectly. Great color combination, too! Thank you so much for playing along with this week's Global Design Project sketch challenge.
ReplyDeleteThank you Brian! Yeah the right side of the card got all the love. (might be because I'm right handed?)
