Happy Saturday stampers! Are you going
to stamp or craft sometime this weekend? I hope so. It's my plan too! I’d like to see what you
are up to. Feel free to comment on this blog post and send a link to your blog
or social media site where you are sharing your creations.
I am sharing a “Z” fold card today. This
is where you would score one have of your card to fold the opposite way.
Here are the colors I chose to use on today card:
Measurements:
Night of Navy card base 4 ¼” x 11
scored at 2 ¾” and 5 ½”
Crumb Cake 4” x 5 ¼”
English Garden DSP is 2 5/8” x 5 3/8”
Night of Navy 3” x 3 ½” punched with
the Curvy Trio Punch
Crumb Cake 2 7/8” x 3 3/8” punched
with the Curvy Trio Punch
I had stamped the sentiment in Night
of Navy ink and immediately poured Clear Stampin' Emboss powder over and heat set
it. For added effect I have also stamped in Crumb Cake leaves that coordinate
with the piece of English Garden DSP.
You can see how the Z fold looks when
it stands on its own.
Here is the card completely opened up. You can see the stamped leaves on the Crumb Cake piece on the piece we generally would consider to be the inside of the card.
How about the Botanical Garden Jewel.
Isn’t it just adorable? Oh and I specifically choose to add a Crumb Cake heart
paper clip (legit made from card stock aka paper) and then added the flower
jewel for your eye to catch. It's to coordinate with the curvy punch corners.
Can you tell the verbiage is raised? Not just by dimensionals. (ha) Some of the words you can see the shine from the light. Well if you could only
feel the card you’d know it was there. I love being able to emboss with any of
the Stampin’ Up! inks. Since the embossing powders do not come in all the
colors, this is my trick to embossing and getting the same great look with any
color of my choosing. Clear Stampin' Emboss Powder. If it’s not in your craft
stash, you may want to get some. Be sure to click on the icon below to shop my
online store.
Thank you for taking some time out of
your busy weekend to stop by to see my creation today. Be sure to return
tomorrow if you’d like to see what else I’ve been up to.
I used the layout from Freshly Made Sketches (#FMS219). Thank you Cindy for inspiring my Z fold card.

DeleteThis is stunning, Leanne. The colors and papers are so elegant and a perfect pairing to this very special verse. I love the fold (love seeing something different!) and I'm amazed by the paperclip that you designed. Really awesome card. Thanks for playing along with my sketch at FMS this week!
ReplyDeleteThank you Cindy! The paperclip is from the Project Life Paper Clip Thinlets. I chose the heart shape to coordinate with the other corners for the sentiment.
