Welcome
to Saturday my stamping friends! Today I plan to craft the day away waiting for
the snow to fall from storm Jonas. Maybe I'll glance out the window every so oftern to see a few snowflakes fall but I'll be focusing on getting my craft on. For Connecticut they have an interesting forecast of what we will be getting for snowfall. It ranges quite a bit. So we shall see what if any snowfall we receive this weekend.

Shhh I cheated a bit and didn't throw away the other pieces of the Striped Scallop thinlet I cut from my Starfish Sympathy card.
I have
finally lined up the two stamps for the starfish and it came out looking so
real. Well as real as it can look on card stock. I like how the striped scallop
looks like netting. The Life is good sentiment is perfect for this clean and
simple card.
I played
along with Watercooler Wednesday’s Challenge (#WWC51). A starfish counts as a
star right? It has five points and has “star” in the name.
Thank you
for taking a moment of your day to visit, view and hopefully comment on my
creation.

Hi Leanne, yes, a starfish counts as a star. I love the way you've kept a nice deal of negative space and used just a portion of the striped scallop die cut. It adds interest while still keeping the card clean and simple. I'm amazed at how beautifully you've lined up that starfish. Not an easy feat! Thanks so much for joining us this week for our Watercooler Wednesday Challenge.
ReplyDeletePhew! Thank you Heidi. These clean and easy cards are my hardest to create. I just want to keep adding but this time I knew I just had enough and needed to stop and submit it.
DeleteWonderful card, Leanne! Thanks for joining us this week at Watercooler Wednesday Challenge. Marsha
