Happy Friday my creative friends. I'm joining the movement my friend and fellow Stampin' Up! demonstrator, Shannon West (Demonstrator Training Manager with Stampin' Up!) of bringing birthdays back. Pretty much the long and short of it is that social media has ruined birthdays. We (yes, I include myself in the 'we') seem to have lost the umpf to actually handmake, handwrite, hand deliver or mail to the receipent.
Shannon had carved #imbringingbirthdaysback as a
rubber stamp to stamp the envelopes. Sara Douglass (Interim CEO) asked Shannon
how Stampin' Up! could help with her movement. Exciting news! Stampin' Up!
is going to manufacture the #imbringingbirthdaysback stamp. It will be a single
wood-mount stamp, which will be available globally while supplies last. You can
get your hands on one of these stamps. Stay tuned for more details as I get
them.
A closer view of the balloon bundle
with matching enamel dots.
I used the sketch from Paper Craft Crew Challenges (#PCCCS181). I had flipped the sketch. I saw the circle elements as balloons.
