WooHoo it’s FRIDAY! Are you doing a
happy dance? I’m twisting, turning and soon to be shouting in celebration! Nothing exciting here just crafting up a storm as per ususal this weekend. Do you have any exciting plans?
I had an interesting thought to make a
scene with the mountains and a Weimaraner (pointer breed dog I thought this image looked like). Watercoloring the dog with Daffodil Delight and it was just too bright. So I went over it with Smoky Slate and really LOVE how the coat came out. What are your thoughts? Maybe it will be easier to see in the next picture. I wrapped Whisper White baker's twine around the sentiment banner (five times to be exact) then threaded another piece around the five and tied a bow.
Here is a closer view of sentiment
banner. I colored the ‘bound’ with the Clear Wink of Stella® Glitter Brush. I like how this little bit of sparkle adds that extra special touch.
I used the color combination from
Global Design Project (#GDP025).
I used the sketch from Hand Stamped Sentiments (#HSS232).
Measurements:
Smoky Slate 4 ½” x 11” scored 5 ½”
Love Story Stripe banner 2 ½” x 6”
Daffodil Delight banner 1 ¾” x 4 ½”
Smoky Slate banner ½” x 3”
