Everyday Moments

When I received my 2016 Occasions Catalog in the mail (yes I was able to preview it as a PDF on the computer but it's so different when the catalog is physically in your hands) while flipping through I saw In the Meadow stamp set I knew I needed it! I'm so SO very excited it's in my craft room now.

While creating my card, I was missing Utah for some reason. Maybe because of the mountains or the snow I remember seeing on them in years past or just because I wish I was visiting all my Stampin' Up! family. Whichever the reason I am really in need to visit Utah. Hopefully very soon (April 2016)!

I attempted to watercolor these images but I didn’t like how they turned out. Most likely because I didn’t use Watercolor Paper. I’ll remember to do that for next time. So I took out the Blender Pens and colored away.

All the images are stamped with Early Espresso and then colored with Delightful Dijon and Tip Top Taupe. I took some closer pictures so you can really see these images. Stampin' Up! does a great job of making sure each image has every detail needed to come alive on your crafting projects.

The sentiment I chose was similar to how I was feeling earlier when I was thinking about Utah. I thought this must be how wildlife looks like out there every day. So peaceful and beautiful. So I pulled out the Project Life Moments Like These stamp set and decided upon the "Everyday Moments" sentiment. I think it works perfectly. Don't you?

I used the layout from TGIF Challenges (#TGIFC33).

Thank you for stopping by today. Can you believe it almost the middle of December? I will have more to share with you tomorrow. Come back to see what it is.
